Hi Flora,
I enjoyed chatting to you last night in the chatroom. What a pity you had to go so soon. You asked me to tell you about what I enjoy doing in my spare time. So here it goes!
I'm really interested in books and I specially love romantic books. I usually try to pursue my mother to buy me more books but she never does because she always says that I have enough books of this type.
I enjoy listening to music. My favorite singer is Justin Timberlake because I went to see his concert last week. It was easy to get tickets because I had contacts. I had to stand in a queue for five minutes and the concert was fantastic. Can i ask for more?
I also like all sports but I prefer hip hop. I play at least twice a week. Last year I hurt my arm so I didn't play for a few days.
That's all for now. If you want to know anything else, let me know!
Please send me an e-mail or sms and tell me about your interests and hobbies.
Yours,
Clàudia

I think my parents are too strict because I think I'm old enough to go out until later. I know it will be difficult to reach an agreement, but I would be very happy.
I'd really like some advice because my friends and I don't know what to do or what to say to my parents anymore.

THE SONG BREAKING FREE (HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL).
There's not a star in heaven
That we can't reach
We're trying
But we're breaking free
You know the world can see us
In a way that's different than who we are
Creating space between us
'Till we're separate hearts
But your faith it gives me strength
Strength to believe
We're breakin' free
We're soarin'
Flyin'
There's not a star in heaven
That we can't reach
We're trying
But we're breking free
Oh, we're breakin' free

UNIT 1
Is it good to take exams? In my opinion, the answer to this question must be "No". Teachers can't assess our work of months in one exam.
Many people study for exams and then, they already remember anything. How is it that many people didn't pass an exam when they had studied a lot? Today, many people. As I see it, teachers would have to assess practical work and the attitude of everyday in the school. It is clear that if there weren't exams, people would pay more attention in class because it would be a different way to evaluate.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't like to take exams and I think that it's a way of wasting our time.

This unit have many new vocabulary specific, like new phrasal verbs. I think that it's a good way to learn but I think that it's difficult to understand all the words and pay attention all the time in class too.

DESCRIBE A FOOD I REALLY LIKE
Hi, my name is Claudia and I want to say my favorite food is pizza.
Since I was young, I thought that pizza is a great invention. First, I like it because it is a mixture of many ingredients that I like, such as cheese or ham. Also because it's easy to make and very healthy. All in all, I think that Italians are very clever, of course!!
Most of my friends like different types of it, but personally I like with pineapple and mushroom: It's very delicious! When my friends and I go to dinner out, we always eat it.
Now, I must look out because although it's healthy, is fattening!

Fightless bird, american mouth.
Emma Watson, a model student

THE PROPOSAL
She is ambitious, tyrannical and hated by everyone who works for her, especially her assistant, Andrew. She has one problem, however: she is Canadian, and the US Immigration Service is going to deport her. Unless, of course, she can marry an American citizen. Like Andrew, for instance. Andrew understands that Margaret is a monster, but accepts her proposition on one condition - that she promotes him to editor.
Initially, it is impossible to care about either Margaret or Andrew because their motives are entirely cynical and mercantile.
Personal Opinion:
I think that this film is a good comedy and I enjoy it a lot.
If you want, you can see the TRAILER.
LEONARDO DICAPRIO, Star with a conscience

As for his future ambitions (doing more environmental work and starting a family), DiCaprio believes there are no limits as long as he doesn't get cynical. "There is a lot I want to do and the more cynical. you become, the more you sit on your butt and do nothing", he says. "What I want is to be known as someone who stood for something".

I am writing to enquire about a lottery funds community project in our town.
Woodford is a small town in the south England. In this city.
There are a lot of roads in and around the town, but there aren't any cycle paths in the town centre. For that reason, we would like to make cycle paths here.
This project will help the environment and the people of the town. I would be grateful if you could send me information about lottery grants. If you have any question about it, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Yours faithfully,

Mariona: At The Warehouse on Friday.
Clàudia: Right. I'm definitely going to that. Would you like to go with me?
Mariona: I'd love to, but I'm afraid I can't. My parents wouldn't be very happy about it.
Clàudia: Go on! They wouldn't mind.
Mariona: No, sorry. I'm supposed to be going out with them that night anyway.
Clàudia: That's a shame. Oh well, do you fancy going out another night?
Mariona: I'll think about it, OK?
